You're a Lifesaver

My mom recently asked me if I could make her a thank you card. She wanted to give it to a fellow who works in the next building over from her office. He has helped her with some graphic design work. So she said can you make me a card that would work for someone who does graphic design?

Not totally clear what a card for a graphic designer might look like I headed to the Silhouette Store. I found this thank you card in the store, I sized to to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card.I used the pattern fill feature in the design software to fill the entire card base with this gradient color pattern. I then used the Print and Cut feature to print my card base on white card stock and cut it out with my Cameo.

My next trip to the Silhouette store was to find something that I could put on the front of this card. I found this safety float. I cut it at about 3" to fit on my card front and popped it up on my card. Now, for a sentiment and that was easy. I printed it out on white card stock with my printer, and just cut it down to fit across the front of my float.

It was a quick and easy card to make, and my Mom loved it!
