Easter Treat Bag- Cardztv 3D Challenge

It is time for another challenge over at CardzTV.  The 3D challenge this time is to make a treat bag or holder for Easter.  This is what I created.

For my project I used the Lawn Fawn Tote Bag die to create my little bag.  The patterned paper is from Doodlebug Designs.  I also used one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hills dies to create a grassy area on the front of the bag.  I stamped my sentiment from the CardzTV Easter Punnies.

Now it is your turn. Create a bag or treat holder for Easter. Link it up over at CardzTV  for your chance to win a CardzTV Stamp set.

Happy Easter 3D Challenge

It is time once again for a new 3D challenge over at CardzTV. The new challenge is to create a 3D card, or treat bag or holder for Easter.  Here is what I came up with.

This is a Shadow box card. The finished card size is 4" X 5 1/2" so it will fit in an A2 size envelope.

I found the Image in the Silhouette store Design ID #76546.  I cut it at the default settings and layered the image together.  It is actually a fairly quick and easy card to put together.  The trick is to use foam dots between each of the layers.  You start with the cut with the widest border and layer the frames ending with the smallest bordered frame as the outside one.

I stamped my sentiment using the Happy Days stamp set on a 1 1/4" circle that I cut in half so I could tuck it up under one of the frames.

Now I hope you will join us and enter your 3D Easter project. Remember Mary will be giving a way a set of stamps. So pop on over to CardzTV and link up your project.  While there pop on over to the stamp blog and browse her selection of stamps. She has 4 new released stamp sets so be sure to check them out.

3d Easter Wreath

It is that time once again for a new 3D challenge over at CardzTV. The challenge is to make a 3D project for Easter. Now I thought about an Easter basket, and an Easter box to hold some candy, but then I saw this wreath in the Silhouette store and just knew it was what I wanted to make!

I cut the wreath at the default size it came up on my mat. I cut four of the circle bases and adhered them together to make sure the base was sturdy enough. I cut the leaves flowers and used a wooden skewer to curl them to make them more natural looking. I then adhered the leaves to the wreath base.

Next I cut the base layers of the eggs out of white and the decorative layers out of the Core' de nations sand able paper. I embossed each of the different decorative layered colors with different embossing folders before sanding and adhering to my eggs. I then adhered the eggs to my wreath and then the flowers.

To finish the wreath I used my Tim Holtz tiny attacher to attach a loop of ribbon to the back of the wreath so I could hang it. Using a separate piece of ribbon I tied a bow closer to the wreath. Then I use the CardzTV Going in Circles stamp set to stamp Happy Easter on a bright yellow card stock and punched it out using my 1 1/4" punch. I put the sentiment into the center of an extra flower and added a pink button. Finally I tide a tiny bow out of a scrap of the blue ribbon and attached it to my button with a glue dot.

Now it is your turn. Make a 3D project for Easter and share it with us at CardzTV. Mary is giving away a set of her stamps so be sure to get your project link for your chance to win a set of her awesome stamps!!
