BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #54 Challenge

Hey everyone. There is a new challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers using Sketch 54. This is my first inspiration project with this sketch.

I used pattern papers from Honeybee Stamps for my card and matted everything with some gold matte cardstock.

I die cut a 2 1/4" circle out of some white cardstock and embossed it with a 3D embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. I then spritzed it with some sheer sparkle spray.  Next, I white heat embossed my sentiment on some black cardstock. The sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp Graceful Holiday Greetings and die cut with the matching dies.

Once the white circle was dry, I adhered it to my card using some liquid adhesive. I added my sentiment to the white circle with some narrow foam strips. To finish the card, I added some gold pearls.

I appreciate you stopping by. I encourage you to head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and check out the inspiration from the rest of the Design Team, then add your project to our Facebook group for a chance at winning a prize.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #51 Challenge

There is a new challenge over at the BYSH Cardmakers. Here is a look at the sketch.

I started my card base with some heavyweight white cardstock that was cut, scored and olde to make a standard A2 cardbase. For the rest of my card, I followed the measurements and layers from the card sketch.

I am not sure where the pattern paper is from. I embossed the green pattern paper with a Spellbinders 3D embossing folder. I cut a rectangle from some vellum.

I cut my candy cane with my Cricut, layered it together and adhered it to the vellum panel which I adhered to my card front.

I white heat embossed my sentiment on some red cardstock. It is from a Gina K Designs stamp set.

I thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and check out the design team's projects and then link up your project in our Facebook Group. Thanks for stopping by.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #49 Challenge

There is a new sketch challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers using sketch #49.

For my inspiration project I used pattern paper from Echo Park. I used a tree I found in Cricut Design Space. Instead of using image as is, I duplicated it and sliced out the gold decorations, so I didn't have place them individually. Instead, I was able to cut a solid tree out of some gold shimmery cardstock and put it behind my green layer so it would show through the cut outs. I popped up my tree with some foam squares. I gold heat embossed my sentiment on a scrap of green cardstock leftover after cutting my tree. To finish my card, I added some gold confetti discs to the lower right hand side of my card front.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and check out the inspiration projects by the design team then show us your project using the sketch in our Facebook group.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #48 Challenge

There is a new sketch challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers. The Sketch #48 Challenge is active. Here is a look at the Sketch.

For my card I used some diagonal striped paper. My ornament was found in Cricut Design Space. I added some greenery to two of the top sides of the ornament. I turned the images to draw and attached them to the ornament. I also added a snowflake to the middle of the second section of the ornament, again I turned it to draw and attached it to the ornament. I used a silver marker to draw these images before cutting it out. I used some silver rub-on's  for the snowflake on the top layer and the two small dots on the lower layer. I added some small silver gemstones to the center of the snowflakes. I popped the ornament up when I added it to my card.

My sentiment is from a stamp set from Taylored Expressions. I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder and used the matching die to cut it out. I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment up when adhering it to my card. I added some silver sequins to finish my card.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers and check out the rest of the design team's inspiration projects. Then you need to share your project in our Facebook group. Hope to see you there.

BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party Day 3

Welcome back! It's day 3 of the BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party. Today I have a simple card. I recently purchased an A2 size paper pad from Waffle Flower one of our party sponsors. The paper pad is called Seasons Greetings. This blue holly paper was the first sheet in the paper pad, and I fell in love with it.

I added a piece of that pattern paper to my card base. I added a simple Merry Christmas sentiment. I cut the shadow from blue cardstock and the main layer from red cardstock. I used an Easy Cut Adhesive sheet that I applied to the back of my cardstock. I then ran it through my die cutting machine and I had an instant sticker. The Easy Cut Double Sided Adhesive sheets are from Therm o Web another party sponsor. I popped up my sentiment using some iCraft 3D Foam adhesive, which is also from Thermo O Web. I finished my card with a few white confetti.

I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and play along with us. Thanks for stopping by.

I cut the image panel into a rectangle to adhere it to my card. I added some white gel pen highlights.
