BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #51 Challenge

There is a new challenge over at the BYSH Cardmakers. Here is a look at the sketch.

I started my card base with some heavyweight white cardstock that was cut, scored and olde to make a standard A2 cardbase. For the rest of my card, I followed the measurements and layers from the card sketch.

I am not sure where the pattern paper is from. I embossed the green pattern paper with a Spellbinders 3D embossing folder. I cut a rectangle from some vellum.

I cut my candy cane with my Cricut, layered it together and adhered it to the vellum panel which I adhered to my card front.

I white heat embossed my sentiment on some red cardstock. It is from a Gina K Designs stamp set.

I thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and check out the design team's projects and then link up your project in our Facebook Group. Thanks for stopping by.

BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party Day 6

Welcome to day 6 of the BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party. My project today is just a fun card featuring Christmas cookies. My card is a standard A2 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" heavyweight white cardstock base.  I added a red mat cut to 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" behind my pattern paper which is cut to 4" X 5 1/4".  I used a die from the Spellbinders Essential Modern Ovals Etch Dies to cut my red pattern paper.

I found this Christmas tree cookie image in Design Space and cut it with my Cricut Maker 3. I added some red and green gems to decorate my tree. The pattern paper is some from my stash.

A pretty quick card for today. I hope you will head on over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and link up your project for a chance to win one of the awesome prizes from our sponsors. Thanks for stopping by.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #34 Inspiration Project

I have another inspiration project using sketch #34 for the BYSH Cardmakers June challenge. Today is the final day to enter a project.  My card features pattern papers from a Recollections 6" X 6" paper pad from my stash.

My tree is from Cricut Access and was cut with my Maker 3. I created a small offset for my tree in Design Space and cut that from some dark green cardstock. I cut the top layer from some gold mirror cardstock. I adhered the layers of the tree together with liquid adhesive.

For the little strip behind the tree, I used a border die from Spellbinders to cut that out of more of the gold mirror cardstock.  I heat embossed my sentiment on a piece of the dark green cardstock using some gold embossing powder.

I used some foam tape to adhere the tree and sentiment to my card, I added some red, green and gold gems to my tree as a finishing touch.

I hope you will pop on over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog for more inspiration then add your project to our Facebook group.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you come back soon.

For my card I used pattern papers from a 6 X 6 Recollections paper pad I had in my stash. I cut my Christmas light with my Cricut Maker 3. My white layer is glitter cardstock. I cut the light from some Cricut foil kraft board for the red and the silver is some I had in my stash.

I followed the layout and measurements on the sketch. I cut my light at 2 1/2". I adhered my light to my card with liquid adhesive. I stamped my sentiment directly on my card.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #30 Challenge

Welcome to February everyone! It's time for a new challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers. We are using Sketch #30. It's a fun one.

My card for your inspiration today uses pattern paper from My Favorite Things. It's an older 6" X 6" paper pad. I used some blue glitter cardstock from my stash to cut a snowflake at 2 1/4" with my Cricut Maker 3. I cut a 2 1/2" circle using a die out of vellum to put behind my snowflake. It is all attached to my heavyweight white cardstock card base with liquid adhesive.

I white heat embossed a sentiment on some dark teal cardstock and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I popped up my sentiment with some foam adhesive. To finish the card I added 3 iridescent snowflake sequin tucked around my sentiment.

I appreciate you stopping by. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog for more inspiration from the design team. Then post your project in our Facebook group.

BYSH Cardmakers January Challenge

BYSH Cardmakers has decided to continue with Sketch #29 for January. Need a reminder of what the sketch is? Here you go.

Just a hint on using this sketch. I used double sided pattern paper on my card. I cut it down to 3 3/4" X 5" first, then used a pencil to lightly draw my lines for cutting on my paper. It makes it easier to get the correct cuts. You can then just us the A and B sides of your pattern paper on your card.

For my card, I started with heavyweight white cardstock that I cut, scored and folded to make my 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I then added a 4" X 5 1/4" white mat, and then added my pattern paper. I then cut some white glitter cardstock into a 3" circle. My pattern paper is from an older Echo Park Winter 6" X 6" paper pad.

My image was cut using my Cricut Maker 3. It is from the Winter Animals image set, I chose to change the colors of the image to better match my pattern paper.  I assembled it with liquid adhesive. He is adhered to the glitter cardstock circle with some thin foam tape. I then adhered the circle to my card base with more thin foam tape. I used a white gel pen to add some highlights to the bunny and sled. I added some small white polka dots to the gloves and scarf.

So, now it's your turn to play along. Head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog for more inspiration then post your project to our Facebook group.

I appreciate you stopping by for a visit. Hope you stop by again soon.
