Hello everyone, Deanna here back with another project for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.  Here is what I have for you today.

For the tree I started with a piece of watercolor card stock that I inked with Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, and Ripe Persimmon to create a bright fall leaf color.  Using the Dee's Distinctively Tree Topper Die to cut out the fall "leaves" for my tree.

If you don't want to use distress inks to create you card stock for your tree toppers, you can always just cut them out of some colored card stock.

Next I cut out my tree trunk using the Dee's Distinctively Tree Base 1 Die and some dark brown card stock to cut the tree base.

Once I had everything cut out I assembled the tree.  Next I went to work on the card.

The card base is Kraft card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.  Next I added a brown mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and the patterned paper mat cut at 3 3/4" X 5".  I layered all the mats together and added them to my card base. Next I stamped the sentiment using some Versamark Ink and some fine detail antique gold embossing powder to emboss my sentiment.  I used some foam tape to add the tree to my card base, and the card was done.

Thanks

Hi everyone, Deanna here with another inspirational project for Dies R Us.  Here is what I have for you today.

I started with a Kraft colored card stock that was cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.

Next I took a piece of 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" Distress Water Color card stock and using distress inks I created a fall leaf colored background. Distress inks I used included Rusty Hinge, Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Abandon Coral.  After I had the background created I die cut it using the Tutti Designs Maple Vine Frame. I love how it turned out.  Next I cut the word Thanks using the Die-Versions Curly Words Die.

Here's a TIP for you: When cutting fragile word dies, cut them multiple times and glue them together. This makes them sturdier and adds dimension to the word.  I cut my Thanks word 4 times and adhered them together before adding them to my card.

Scatter Joy

Hi everyone, Deanna here back with another inspirational blog post for you all.  Here is my project.

My card base is a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" Kraft card base.  I added a black mat cut at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8".  Next I took a piece of water color card stock and used distress inks to create my background color.  I used Rusty Hinge, Ripe Persimmon, and some Abandoned Coral inks, I was going for a nice orange sunset look.  Next I cut the card stock down to 4" X 5 1/4".

I used the Adelaide Memory Box die to cut my image out of white card stock.  I adhere the die to the water color card stock and added some sequins to the card and stamped my sentiment.
