BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party Day 2

I have my day 2 project for the BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party. My project today features a die set from sponsor Gina Marie Designs and pattern paper from Echo Park.

I cut my die from some white glitter cardstock. I found a circle die in my stash to die cut black cardstock to fit behind my glitter die cut. Before adhering the circles together, I added some white spatter to the black circle.

My cardbase is heavyweight white cardstock cut, scored and folded to make an A2 cardbase. My black snowflake pattern paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4". My plaid pattern paper is cut to 3 3/4" X 5".  I adhered both to my cardbase with some liquid adhesive. Next, I adhered my white glitter cardstock to my spattered black circle. I used some foam tape to adhere that to my card front.

I added my sentiments and finished with some black sequins.

I hope you will join the party and link up your project. Thanks for visiting.

Let's Craft and Create Challenge #199 AG + Use Strips Instead of Ribbon

Hard to believe that September is here already. It's time for a new challenge over at Let's Craft and Create. The challenge this month is of course Anything Goes with the Option to use Strips instead of Ribbon.

I started with an orange card base cut, scored and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" landscaped card. My pattern paper is from Echo Park Fall Fun 6" X 6" paper pad. I cut my plaid paper to 4" X 5 1/4" and adhered it to my card base with liquid adhesive.

I cut my paper strips using the A2 Stitched Strip dies from Kat Scrappiness. I used 2 different sizes and some scraps from another Echo Park Fall paper pad. I adhered those to the card front with liquid adhesive.

My yellow patterned paper is cut to 2 1/2" X 3 1/4". I added some thin foam tape to the back before adhering it to the front of the card. I then added some stickers to the panel from the Fall Fun sticker sheet. To finish it up I added 3 dark chocolate pearls in the upper right hand corner of the yellow panel.

Now, I hope you will head on over to the Let's Craft and Create blog and checkout all the other inspiration from the design team. Then link up your project. Hope to see you there.

BYSHC Christmas in July Linky Party, Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party! Here is my inspiration project for you.

For my card, I started with some heavyweight white cardstock that was cut, scored and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.

My pattern paper is from Echo Park. My pattern paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4". I matted that paper on some black cardstock cut 1/8" larger than the pattern paper. The red candy cane paper is the B side of my main pattern paper. It is cut at 1" X 5 1/4". I used a Spellbinders border die to cut some gold glitter cardstock and adhered it to the left side of the candy cane paper.

My sentiment is from Gina K Designs, one of our wonderful Linky Party sponsors. The stamp set is called Wishing You Mini Set. I embossed my sentiment on black cardstock using Gold Fine Detail embossing powder. I then added some snowflakes and other items from the stamp set using white embossing powder. I added my sentiment banner to my card using foam tape. To finish up I added some gold pearls.

I appreciate you stopping by. I hope you will take the time to pop over to the BYSH Cardmakers and check out the inspiration projects done by the Design Team. Then link up your project. You don't have to use Facebook for this party. We have wonderful sponsors who are offering some great prizes. You don't want to miss out. The party runs July 21 - July 28th. Hope you join us!

BYSH Cardmakers July Sketch #35

Wow, July already! Where is this year going? But a new month means it's time for a new challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers.  Here's a peek at the new sketch, Sketch #35.
This is my first inspiration post using the sketch.

Pattern papers are from Echo Park. I used my Corner Chomper to round the corners on the white pattern paper. All the pattern papers are adhered directly to my card base with liquid adhesive. My image is a print and cut image from Cricut Design Space. I added the tree to the card using some foam tape. I added some glossy accents to the red ornaments on the tree and added sparkle to the tree with my clear glitter pen. Finally I added some dark green enamel dots and white heat embossed my sentiment on a scrap of the red plaid paper.

Now it's your turn. Head on over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog for more inspiration from the design team. Then add your project to out Facebook Group. Thanks for stopping by. I'll be watching for you in the Facebook group.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch Challenge #29

Wow, it's December already! That came fast. But it means a new challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers. Here is a look at the new sketch.

Crystal the designer of the sketch recommends using double sided paper. After cutting it down to 3 3/4" X 5", draw lines from corner to corner to help you before cutting. That helped me.

For my card I started with some heavyweight white cardstock that was cut, scored and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I cut my mat from some dark green cardstock. I then added my pattern paper which is from Echo Park.

I then created a wreath for my card using a wreath die from Reverse Confetti and various colors of green cardstock as well as some red for the berries. I layered that all together with liquid adhesive to make my wreath.  I added the center that was cut from the dark green cardstock back to the center of the wreath.

My sentiment was stamped on white cardstock using some Versafine Watermark ink and embossed with some red Wow! embossing powder. The sentiment stamp is from Simon Says Stamp. To finish the card I added some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

Now, I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and check out the inspiration then head over to our Facebook group and link up your project.

I really appreciate you stopping by for a visit. Leave me a comment and I hope to see you again soon.
