Just for You! CardzTV 3D Challenge

It is time once again for a new 3D challenge over at CardzTV. The new challenge is "Just for You", make a gift card holder.  Here is what I did.

I found the pattern in the Silhouette Store.  I cut the image at the default size. If I were to make it again, I would increase the size by about 10 to 15%. When finished the gift card was a tight fit. I cut the back layer of my card out of green card stock. The front is cut from some patterned paper from the Doodlebug 6" X 6" Home for the Holidays paper pad.

I adhered the front and back together with some tombow mono multi adhesive.  I stamped the sentiment on the cuff of my stocking with Cottage Ivy Memento Ink.

My sentiment is from the Christmas Joy CardzTV stamp set.

To finish the card, I used my white gel pen to add some stitching lines to my stocking and the patches on the toe and heal.  I used a Spica glitter pen in Olive to add the stitching lines to the cuff. To close my card, I added a small magnetic disc closure.

Now it is your turn. Create a Gift Card holder and link your project up over at CardzTV.  Mary will be giving away a set of stamps and will select a winner using Random.org.  Challenge runs for two weeks. Be sure to pay CardzTV Stamps a visit and get your holiday stamps ordered.
