I've Got my Eye's on You

It is time once again for a new 3D Challenge over at CardzTV.  The challenge this time is to make a candy bar wrapper or a treat holder for Halloween. This is what I came up with.

The file for the Milk Carton came from the Cutting Cafe.  I used some Doodlebug paper to cut my box.  The box was cut at 8.2" X 10.7 inches.  Box assembly is easy.  My suggestion is to put the piece of acetate over the spider cut out before assembling the box. Ask me how I know it is easier this way? Because I didn't do it that way.  I cut the little top piece at the default size it came into the program as and cut it down to fit.  You can't really tell but I did run it through my paper crimper to give it some ridges.  I attached it to the top of the carton with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher.  I then added a black and orange ribbon.  For my sentiment I stamped it with some Pumpkin Spice Versamark Chalk Ink.  I attached it to the top with some foam dots and finished it off with an orange enamel dot.  My sentiment is from the Frankly Frightful stamp set.

Now it is your turn to show us your 3D Halloween Treat holders.  Be sure to head over to CardzTV and link up your project for a chance to win a set of CardzTV Stamps.

Halloween Milk Carton

It is time for another fun project from the Cutting Cafe.  This weeks project is made using several choices of Halloween and Fall themed Milk Cartons.  Here is my project.

To see how I made this adorable bat milk carton just watch the video below.

After I filled the carton with candy and ran the purple top through my paper crimper to give it a more realistic look and adhered it to the top of the carton.  These are quick and easy to make so I hope you will give them a try.
