Sunny Day Crafting Challenge - F is for Fence

It is time for a new weekly challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.  This weeks challenge is F for Fence. Here is what I came up with.

The image is from the Silhouette store.  I thought it looked so springy and I think we all could do with a touch of spring right about now.  I cut the image at 4" wide which made it about 2.6" tall.  I used my My Favorite Things Mod Stitched Rectangle die to cut the blue patterned paper.  I used my corner chomper to round to the two corners on my card so the card base had the same look as the patterned paper.  I adhered the fence image to my patterned paper using some Nuvo Adhesive liquid glue.  My sentiment is from an Altenew stamp set and was stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink.  To finish the card I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White for the flower center and the birds little eye.

Now it is your turn. Be sure to head over to Sunny Day Crafting and link up your project using a fence.

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #65 - X is for Xmas

It is time for a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.  This weeks challenge is X is for Xmas.  I decided to change it up a bit a do a 3D project for this week. Here is what I made.

I made a Poinsettia tea light holder.  I cut the leaves out of green patterned paper and the flower petal out of some red and white polka dot patterned paper.  The design is from the Silhouette store.  I adhered all my layers together using some Nuvo liquid adhesive.  Once dry I added my little electric tea light. This adds a festive touch to my holiday decor.

Now it is your turn. Make a Xmas project and link it up over at Sunny Day Crafting.  I can hardly wait to see what you make.

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #59 R is for Ribbon

It is time for a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting and this weeks challenge is R is for Ribbon.  Here is what I made for your inspiration.

I started with some Kraft card stock cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" top folding card base.  I added some patterned paper cut at 4 1/8"X 5 3/8".

For my leaf, I took a piece of white card stock and sponged on some Orange Blush Nuvo Mousse.  On top of that I added some Persian Red Nuvo Mousse and let it dry.  I then die cut my leaf using the Tim Holtz Layered Bigz Leaf die and embossed it with the texture fades embossing folder that came with the die.  I love how the leaf turned out.

I added some chocolate ribbon to the patterned paper.  I then embossed my sentiment using some Metallic Copper WOW embossing powder. Once the sentiment was done I adhered my patterned paper to my card base.  Next I adhered the leaf to my patterned paper using some Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive.  This is my new favorite liquid adhesive.

Now it is your turn. Show us your projects made using ribbon using the linking feature on Sunny Day Crafting blog.
