Hey Pumpkin! Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #51

It is time for a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.  The challenge this week is J for Jack O' Lantern.  Here is what I made for your inspiration.

My card base is black card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card.  I added a goldenrod mat cut at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" and my patterned paper mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4"  The patterned paper is from my stash and I don't know which paper pad it is from.

My image is from the Silhouette store and is cut at approximately 3 1/2". I cut the base layer out of orange and the top layer out of black card stock and adhered them together.  I added some Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the stars.  My sentiment is stamped on more of the orange paper and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Now it is your turn. Head on over to Sunny Day Crafting and enter your project using a Jack O' Lantern.  I will see you there.  Sunny Day Crafting is also having a Design Team call email Janis at pausedreamenjoy@gmail.com if interested.

"Tis the Season

Deanna here with another project for the Dies R Us Inspirational blog.  Here is what I have for you today.

For my card I started with some white card stock cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.  Next I added a red mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4".  Finally I added some pattern paper cut at 3 3/4" X 5".

Next came the ornament.  The dies for this ornament are from Dee's Distinctively.  Be sure to check out all her dies, they are really great dies.  This particular die is called Dee's Distinctively Elrose Ornament Large. This die cuts out just the flourished top part of the ornament.  To get the solid background for the die I used the Elrose Ornament set. I die cut both pieces using my Big Shot and adhered them together.

To finish my card I adhered the ornament straight to my card.  I used my Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen over the red layer of the ornament to give it some sparkle.

Aged to Perfection

Hey everyone, Deanna here with your daily inspirational post.  Here is what I made for you today.

I saw this cute image of Elmo popping out of a box and thought what a perfect birthday card it would make for my friend who is having a birthday soon.

I started with a white card stock base cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.  I added a blue mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4".  Next I added the patterned paper mat cut at 3 7/8" X 5 1/8".  Elmo is a print and cut image from the Sesame Street Elmo Play Day cartridge.  I print and cut the image at 4".  Elmo is added to my card front with foam tape.  I adhered the streamers straight to the card using my two way glue pen.  I dded some sparkle to the streamers and yellow tissue paper in the box using my Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen

Finally, I stamped my sentiment from the CardzTV Good Times Stamp Set.  Thanks for stopping by today.
