Wow it has been a while since I have had time to make some projects to post on my blog! Work and life the to big roadblocks for crafting time.
I finally had a chance to spend some time crafting this past weekend. A good friend of mine from work recently became a grandma for the first time to a sweet and adorable baby girl. So this is what I made for her.
I used some dark pink Heat Transfer Vinyl and cut the words Cutie Patootie out and ironed them on to the front of this adorable floral onesie.
Of course I had to a card as well. I found this adorable blackboard a-frame blackboard card in the Silhouette store. The card fits in an A-2 perfectly. I made a couple of modifications to the card. I added some button brads to each corner. I stamped my sentiment with some Colorbox white pigment ink.
Finally I made a little gift box to put the onesie in. I cut the base of the box out of white card stock. I then cut the decorative patterned paper layers out of some patterned paper from a K & Company paper pack that I have had for several years. I thought it turned out adorable and loved the look of the card.

It's A Girl Card
I found this adorable card kit in the Silhouette store and of course I had to have it. A gal at work recently had a baby and we are going to give this to her.
I cut the card with my Cameo at 5 1/2" and it gave me a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base in pink. I ran the white scalloped piece through my eBosser and embossed it with the Swiss Dots folder. The little onesies were cut from different scraps of card stock. I did opt to not cut the clothesline and instead used a piece of twine. I adhere the onesies to the card front with foam tape to give the illusion that they are attached to the line. Finally I stamped the sentiment It's a girl with some Rosebud Memento Tuxedo ink on pink paper and cut it to look like a banner and adhered it to my card.

Baby Girl Card
Here is a quick card I made for a co-worker who just had a baby girl this last week. The card base is 4 1/2" X 6 and made from some light pink Bazzil card stock. The next layer is a medium pink and also Bazzil card stock and cut at 4 1/4" X 5 3/4". The striped paper is by Doodlebug Designs and is cut at 4" X 5 1/2". The baby carriage is from the Cricut Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge and is cut at 2 3/4" from the same light pink card stock as the card base. I create a shadow for it with my Gypsy and cut that from lavender Bazzil card stock. I ran the top light pink layer of the carriage through my Cuttlebug and embossed it with the Swiss Dots folder and added a piece of lace to the carriage top. I tried not to get the wheels when I embossed but wasn't totally successful. The brads in the carriage wheels and light pink glitter brads from 7 Gypsies. I inked the edges of everything with Memento Dew Drop Angel Pink ink and used my corner rounder to round the corners. I mounted the carriage with one layer of foam tape so it would pop from the card base. The ribbon is some medium pink ribbon I picked up at Michaels. The stamp is one of the $1 Clear Stamps from Michaels and says Sweet Little One. I used some Tuskineko Brilliance Ink in Pearl Coral. I have to make a birthday card for my daughter yet this weekend so hope to have another post tomorrow sometime.
