BYSH Cardmakers Sketch # 26

 

Here is another one of the projects I made using Sketch #26.  This one is more of a winter themed card. My pattern paper is from an older Bo Bunny 6" X 6" paper pad.

My image was created using a die from Paper Rose. I die cut it out of white cardstock and ink blended on it using some Distress Oxide inks. I used Ice Spruce for the trees, Salvaged Patina for the snow, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot for the night sky. I added splatters to the sky using some plain water, and Confetti White Perfect Pearls.

I then die cut another solid circle from some white cardstock so I could paper piece my scene back together. After I had my scene adhered to the solid circle, I die cut a small circle from more of the white cardstock. I took a light gray copic marker and added some dots to my moon, then adhered it to the sky. Finally, I took a small die from my stash to cut my deer out of black cardstock and added him to my scene. I white heat embossed my sentiment onto some black cardstock. I cut it into a strip and added it to my card.

Morgan's Art World Challenge #9

 

It's time for a new challenge over at Morgan's Art World. I used these butterflies from the Garden 10 Butterflies images. My card base is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" white cardstock.  I cut a piece of pattern paper to 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" and adhered it to my card base. My pattern paper is from the Paper Rose Butterfly Bliss 6" X 6" paper pad. I adhered my butterflies using some liquid adhesive under the bodies and some foam dots under their wings. I stamped my sentiment with some Versa Claire Nocturn Ink and added a few sequins to finish the card.

Let's Craft and Create Challenge #182 AG + Beautiful Butterflies

 

It's time for a new challenge over at Let's Craft and Create. This month's challenge is Anything Goes with the Option of Beautiful Butterflies. This is my inspiration card.

I started with a heavyweight white cardstock that was cut, scored, and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I ran some more heavyweight cardstock through my die cutting machine using the Butterfly Cover Plate by Paper Rose. I cut a piece of pattern paper to 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" to fit behind my die cut. The pattern paper is from the Paper Rose Butterfly 6" X 6" paper pad. I used liquid adhesive to adhere my die cut to the pattern paper and to adhere that to my card base. I then added a dimensional butterfly sticker to the lower right-hand side of the card front. Since I am in need of birthday cards, I just added a Happy Birthday sentiment banner.
