Your My Cup of Tea Card

20110221_1 The Challenge this week over at Cricut Cardz Challenge blog is to make a project using a cricut cut of a cup. Here is what I came up with.

I started with a Kraft card stock folded to 5” x 7” for my card base. I inked the edges used the Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Wild Honey distress inks.  I used the cup from the Joys of the Season cricut cartridge found on page 51 of the handbook, flooded it with a flower pattern from the Imagine More cartridge. The cup and the shadow were cut at 2.3”. The shadow was cut flooded with a dark brown also from the Imagine More cartridge.  My tag is is also from the Imagine More cartridge found on page 17 of the handbook. The tag was cut at 6” using the layers feature. I flooded the top layer of the tag with a gold dotted pattern from the cartridge and cut this layer only at 6.2”.  My sentiment is from Kate’s Kitchen and I cut it using the layers feature. My cup and sentiment are attached using foam tape. I used my ATG gun to adhere the other layers. I added some faux stitching to each layer and the card base. I also inked the edges of all of my cuts with the  Tea Dye distress ink. I believe the ribbon is from Stampin’ Up.  Thanks for visiting.
