Harvest Blessings
Today is World Card Making Day and the Cutter's Creek Design Team is asking all our card making friends out there to come play with us. We are encouraging all card makers to make a card and link it up to the post on the DT Blog. There are no prizes or giveaways. we wanted this day to be about you the card maker. We wanted to give everyone a place to share their creations and help inspire each other. So, this is the card I made.
My card base is Kraft card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I added a rust colored mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4". I than ran a piece of the Chocolate Core'denations card stock through my eBosser and embossed it with this new M-Bossabilities Folder called Tweets and Twigs. I then sanded the embossing so the red background would show through. Next I sprayed the paper with some Suns Sisters and Sun Kissed Peach glimmer mist and allowed it to dry then adhered it to my card. My leaf is cut at 3 3/4" from the paper trimmings cartridge. The paper for the leaf is from the DCWV Natural Paper Stack. I then use a scrap from the leaf shadow and cut this tag from Tag, Bag,s Boxes and More at 2 1/4", stamped it with Rich Cocoa Memento ink and added a twine bow. Finally I added some mosaic embellishments.
I hope you will play along with us at the DT Blog and will drop by and see the wonderful creations from the Design Team and your fellow card makers.
