Rosette Tree

Here is the rosette tree I made this afternoon. I can't take credit for the idea, I saw the idea over at Creations with Christina. She had a patterned she followed. After looking at her tree I decided I wanted to make one and use my Ribbon and Rosettes Cricut Cartridge.

I have seven layers on my tree. I of course used the tree rosette. I started cutting my rosettes at 3". I cut 5 sections for each of my rosettes. Each layer is 1/4" smaller then the layer below it. After putting all my rosettes together I cut seven 1" circles and hot glued them to the centers of each of my rosettes. Then I hot glued each layer together. All the paper is from a Recollections paper pad I picked up last Christmas.

My topper is a snowflake from the Teresa Collins December 25th Cricut Cartridge. I cut 4 snowflakes at 1 1 3/4". Scored them in the middle (that was a challenge) and then glued the folded pieces together to make a 3D snowflake and hot glued it to the top of my tree. Finally sprayed the whole tree with some Pearls Glimmer Mist and let it dry.

I think this will be going in my office at work. I am pleased with it.
