It is time for a new 3D Challenge over at CardzTV, The Challenge this time is to make a 3D St. Patrick's Day treat holder or box. This is what I came up with
I made this little Shamrock Basket and it couldn't be quicker and easier to make. I used St. Patrick's Day paper from Doodlebug for the basket. It is from the Silhouette store and I cut it at the default size.
Once you cut the main basket out, you then can cut the handle, shamrocks, and the little side piece and the patterned paper to cover all the sides of the box. Those have to be glues on. What makes this so quick and easy to assemble is that the box folds up and everything is held in place by a brad place through the sides To make it a bit easier on myself I did glue the big and small Shamrocks together as well as lightly tacked the handle to behind the shamrocks. The two darker green shamrocks do need to be adhered down. So this is super quick and easy to mass produce.
I then filled the basket with some iridescent green Easter grass and loaded the basket with the Pot of Gold (in this case gold covered chocolate coins). Stamped my sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and punched it out with a circle punch and adhered it to the handle with a glue dot.
Now it is your turn. Show us what you will make for this new challenge. And please feel free to leave me a comment, I enjoying reading them. I would love it if you wanted to become a follower as well.
Mary over atCardzTV will be giving away a free set of stamps to someone who participates in this challenge and she just got in some new sets!! So hurry on over toCardzTV and link your project up.
