Mother's Day Card 3D Challenge

It is time once again for a new 3D Challenge over at CardzTV.  The challenge is to make a 3D Card for Mother's Day. This is what I came up with.  For the challenge I decided to make an Easel Card.  My card folds flat to fit and A2 envelope.

My image is cut from the A Child's Year cricut cartridge at 3.5"  I cut the shadow out of black and the top layer out of a turquoise paper.  I adhere the images together and then attached them to my card with foam tape.  I added the ribbon at the bottom and the front was done.

To make it so the card stood up, I cut a piece of black paper at 4 1/4" X 1 1/2" and a piece of the turquoise paper at 4 1.4"" X 1 1/4" and layered it on top of the black mat.  I stamped my sentiment which is from the Happy Days CardzTV Stamp set.  I then adhered the piece to the bottom inside of the card base with some foam tape.

Now it is your turn. Hop on over to CardzTV and show us your 3D Card for Mom.  By playing along you have a chance to win a set of CardzTV stamps.  While you are there, be sure to check out the two new stamp sets that CardzTV just released.
