Let's Party

It is time for another Mailbox Smiles challenge over at CardzTV and here is what I made for you.

I am super excited to share my very first shaker card with you.  My card base is white card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card.  I added a lavender colored mat cut at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8" and then some plaid patterned paper that is cut at 4" X 5 1/4". The patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn.

To make my shaker card I used the new My Favorite Things Balloon Shaker and Window Frame die.  I cut my balloon out of the patterned paper.  I cut the frame from more of the lavender card stock.  I used a balloon shaker pouch also from My Favorite Things and added some Lime Jewel mix sequins to the pouch.  After adhering a piece of lavender card stock behind the pouch I adhered everything to the card front.  I then die cut the "string" to the balloon our of some white card stock and added a key lime doodlebug bakers twine bow to the balloon.  I stamped my sentiment from the Let's Party stamp set using some Memento tuxedo black ink.  To finish the card I added some translucent Key Lime Nuvo Crystal drops to two of the corners of my card.

That is my card for the challenge now what is yours? All challenges are anything goes so be sure to join us and link up your project over at CardzTV for a chance to win a set of CardzTV stamps.
