I'm Dying Too See You - Featuring Kat Scrappiness

Today I have a fun shaker card for using the Mummy Wrappings Background Die. For the background I started with some cream cardstock that I ink blended with some Distress Oxide Inks. I started with a light coat of Tea Dye. I then went in and added some Gathered Twigs, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain. I then sprayed some water over it, let it sit then used my microfiber cloth to pick up the water. Next, I lightly spritzed it with the Walnut Stain Distress Spritz.

I allowed it to dry then die cut it with the Mummy Wrappings Background Die. I used the outline as a template, so I knew where to glue the individual pieces to some black cardstock. I then die cut four more of the frames out of some heavy weight black cardstock. I then adhered three of the frames to the back of the cream cardstock frame and a piece of acetate on top of the cream-colored cardstock and then adhered the final black frame on top of that. this gave me plenty of height without having to use foam tape.

Next, I added some of the Halloween Solid Confetti Sequin Mix to the center of all the ink blended pieces. I then adhered my stack of frames over those pieces lining them up with the pieces adhered to the black cardstock base. I cut my eyes using some bright lime green cardstock and black cardstock. I layered the eyes together and added them to the black frame.

I stamped and die cut my sentiment using the Simple Sentiment Stamps-Halloween Edition.

Thanks for stopping by.
