Masculine Birthday Card
My father-in-law's birthday is in a week and I have to get the card in the mail in the next couple of days. So I whipped up a card for him this afternoon. I started with a pre-scored white 5" x 7" card base. I added a black mat cut to 6 3/4" X 4 3/4". I then used my Imagine and the Bubblegum Striped pattern cartridge and the stock 5:7 rectangle to print out my patterned paper, and cut it to 6 1/2" X 4 1/2". I then used the Celebrate with Flourish Cricut Lite cartridge to cut the Happy Birthday at 3.1" For my shadow I chose to use white for the shadow. I used colors and patterns from the Bubblegum Striped Imagine cartridge for the other layers. I adhered it to the card with some foam tape and added some white buttons with glue dots to finish off the card. Hope he likes it. Thanks for visiting.

What a great looking card, and a very masculine one at that.
ReplyDeleteDeanna I know your fil is going to love the card. The colors are perfect and the design is really neat. Not fancy but just enough to make it pop when he opens it. Hugs, Fran
