Kat Scrappiness WCMD Challenge

Hey everyone! In honor of World Cardmaking Day, Kat Scrappiness is hosting a challenge over on their blog with a chance to win a $25 gift card to the Kat Scrappiness store.

For my project today I started with a 4 1/4"  X 5 1/2" white card base. I used pattern papers from the Creepy and Kooky 6" X 6" paper pad. I cut the striped paper to 4"  5 1/4". I then used the reverse side of the paper to cut a 1" X 5 1/4" strip that I adhered to the striped paper about  a 1/4" from the left edge. I then adhered that to my card base.

I then used two circle dies from the Never Ending Circle Dies to cut a circle out of orange cardstock and a slightly smaller circle out of another piece of pattern paper. I then adhered them together.

I then die cut a ghost from the Boo-gy Ghosts Craft Dies, along with the witch's hat and broom. I cut a small scrap of black cardstock to adhere behind the eyes and mouth. The die cuts part of the arms out so the ghost can hold something. I added the broom. Once my ghost was assembled I adhered it to the center of my circle. I then added the circles to my card front with some foam squares.

To finish my card, I stamped a sentiment from the Happy Day stamp set using black ink onto a scrap of the orange cardstock and adhered that to the lower right hand corner of the card.

There is still time to play along with the challenge over at  Kat Scrappiness. I hope you will join in the fun. Thanks for stopping by.
