Happy Hauntings

The new Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a Halloween S-Fold or Z-Fold card . My card base is black card stock and is cut  to 4 1/4" X 11. I scored it at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Folded it in  half then folded the left front back. I added an orange mat cut at 4 1/8" X 2 5/8" on the outside and inside small flap. I then cut a black and white polka dot mat at 4" X 2 1/2" also for the outside and inside small flap. For the base inside I cut my orange mat 4 1/8" X 5 1/8" and the polka dot mat at 4" X 5". I inked the edges of all my pieces with some Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress ink.

My house is cut at 3 1/2" from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. I cut the base from an orange yellow and the top layer from black card stock. I then painted the black layer of my house with some Onyx Pearl Liquid Pearl. My mat for the house is from Paper Trimmings and is cut at 4". I cut the base layer out of gray and the top layer out of black. I adhered the layers together and then spritzed it with some iridescent glitter dust spray. My patterned paper is from an Echo Park Apothecary Paper pack from last year.

For the inside of my card I cut just the shadow of the spiderweb mat at 2 3/4 out of white and again at 3" out of black so I would have a shadow. I cut the dangling spider off of the pieces and inked the edges of the white piece with the Black Soot distress ink. I then stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added some doodling along the outside edge of the web. Finally I took my little black spider I had cut off the web and added it to my sentiment mat and used a white gel pen to give him two little eyes.
