The new
Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a project using a banner. This is what I came up with. My card base is white card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I added a black mat cut to 4" X 5 1/4" and then a pink mat cut to 3 3/4" X 5" and then a patterned paper mat cut at 3 1/2" X 4 3/4". I cut my mat using Elegant Edges and my Gypsy. I adjusted the size so it was approximate 2 1/2" X 3". The shadow was cut out of black and the top layer was cut out of red card stock and then I ran it through my eBosser and embossed it with the 3 dots Sizzix embossing folder. The mat was adhered to my card with some foam tape. My birds come from the Rock Princess cartridge and were cut at 3".
I hope you will join us for the challenge.
