It's time once again for a new challenge over at Cardz TV from the CardzTV Go to Gals. The new challenge is to make a project that celebrates the summer's harvest. This is what I came up with.
My card base is kraft card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I added a golden yellow mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and then the patterned paper cut at 3 3/4" X 5".
My acorn and pear cut is from the Silhouette Store. They were cut at the default settings. I did use the edit point feature to remove the eyes and mouth cut out from each of the fruit. I wanted to use my Peachy Keen Stamps. I ran the acorn top through my eBosser and embossed it with the tiny bubbles Cuttlebug embossing folder. I used my Snow Cuties Peachy Keen stamps to stamp the faces on the fruit. I used the 1" size stamp. I took a Spectrum Noir marker in PPL5 to give my fruit rosy cheeks. I used my white gel pen to color in the whites of the eyes and to add some freckles to the cheeks. I adhered the fruit to the card front with some foam tape. My sentiment is stamped with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink. My sentiment is from the Thankful for You Cardz TV stamp set.
Now it's your turn. Show us your project that Celebrates the Summer Harvest. Just by playing along with us at Cardz TV you will have the chance to win one of the Cardz TV Stamp Set of your choice.
They have the cutest faces!!! Love the plaid background paper too!
