The Creative Crafters Challenge #69 Anything Goes

So excited to be joining the Design Team for The Creative Crafters Challenge blog. Today starts Challenge #69 as always it's Anything Goes. This is my project.

My card base is heavyweight white cardstock cut, scored and folded to make a standard A2 card base.

My pattern papers are from the Carta Bella Fall Fun 6" X 6" paper pad. My images on the circle are from the chipboard die cuts.

My sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn stamp and die set. I embossed the word Autumn on some of the deep red metallic cardstock with some Antique Gold embossing powder. I cut it out 3 more times and adhered them together with the embossed sentiment on top. This adds dimension without having to cut teeny tiny bits of foam tape.

I stamped Hello directly to the card using some brown ink just above my Autumn sentiment. 

Let's Craft and Create Challenge #188 AG + The Colors of Fall

 

There is a new challenge over at Let's Craft and Create. Challenge #188 is Anything Goes with the option of The Colors of Fall (Use any or all of these colors - red, yellow, orange, brown). This is my project.

For my card I started off with some heavyweight white cardstock, cut, scored and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. Next, I cut a piece of pattern paper to 4" X 5 1/4". My pattern paper is from an Echo Park Welcome Autumn 6" X 6" Mega Pad. I used a dark brown solid from the same paper pad and die cut it with Pink Fresh Studio's Geo Tiles coverplate die. I applied an adhesive sheet to the back of the paper before die cutting it so it was easier to adhere to my pattern paper. After I had those layered together, I attached them to my card base with liquid adhesive.

The leaves were cut from colored cardstock using an Autumn Leaves die set from Spellbinders. I heat embossed the word fall with some gold embossing powder and die cut it out using the matching dies from Honeybee Stamps. The word Greetings is from the same Honeybee stamp set and was also embossed in gold. I popped up my fall sentiment with foam tape. To finish the card, I added some gold pearls.

Autumn Leaves

I received in the mail yesterday my order from Cutters Creek. It included several containers of the new Ultra Fine Flower Soft and some Diamond Range in Gold and Silver and some beautiful American Crafts glitter card stock. Of course I had to use something right away so decided to start with the Ultra Fine Flower Soft. Love it! The card is 4 1/2" X 6" from some Kraft card stock I bought at Joanns. The orange  paper is 3" X 6" and I used my Fiskars Treading Water border punch along the bottom of the mat. The patterned paper mat is from DCWV a Fall stack I bought last year and is 2 1/2" X 6. The narrow orange mat is  1 3/4" X 6". I inked the edges of everything with some brown ink. The leaves are cut at 1 1/2" from the Straight From the Nest. I ran them through my Xyron sticker maker upside down so the adhesive was on the front and then flocked them with Burnt Sienna (the darker orange) and Toffee (the lighter brown) Ultra Fine Flower Soft and attached them to my card with foam tape. I added some gold colored hemp cord at the top of the card. The sentiment says  Wishing you a Beautiful Autumn. I am really pleased how this turned out and am super excited about trying my other new Flower Soft purchases from Cutters Creek. Thanks for visiting.
