BYSH Cardmakers May Sketch #69 Challenge

 

Today I'm sharing a project I created for the BYSH Cardmakers May Sketch #69 challenge. Here's a look at the sketch.

I followed the measurements from the sketch using some pattern papers from my stash. My ornament was diecut with some dies from Lawn Fawn. I used some white glitter cardstock for the decorative band on the ornament. I used some silver holigraphic cardstock for  the top hanger layer.  My sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and stamped in some dark green ink and diecut with the matching die.

BYSH Cardmakers Spring into the Holiday's Linky Party Day 5

 

I'm back with another card for the BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party. My project uses a pre cut and scored A2 heavyweight Toffee side fold card base from Taylored Expressions, one of our great sponsors. My pattern papers are from Echo Park. My red pattern paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4".

I recently purchased the florals and flutters card kit from Taylored Expressions and included in the kit was the Happy Square sheets TE Map. It includes 5 laminated maps to create 19 unique card layout. To use these maps you start by cutting your cardstock to 5.75” square. These were designed to use with a 6” X 6” background stencil, but they work great with your 6” X 6” pattern paper. I used one of the maps to cut my pattern paper panels for my card. I used a dark green piece o pattern paper to cut a mat that was 1/4” larger than my the width and height of my pattern paper panels. In case you were wondering, the Happy Square Sheets maps are not currently available for individual purchase, they do currently offer 3 different volumes of their Happy Half Sheets TE Maps for individual purchase. I would suggest checking back at the TE Store if you are interested in the TE square maps, they may be offered for individual purchase at a future date.

I used two of the smaller square dies from the Taylored Expressions Square Stacklets Die set to make my Christmas gift for my card. I ended up using my Cricut Joy2 to cut my bow for the present top, I couldn't finf my TE Little Bits Mini Bows dies. I cut the tails off of my bow with some scissors as I decided I didn't want to use them. I ised my paper trimmer to cut a couple of thin green strips for the ribbon to wrap around my present.

I diecut my tag using a small tag die from the Newton's Nook Frames and Tags Die set. I white heat embossed my sentiment onto the tag. The sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions Itty Bitty Sentiments - Holiday. To finish my tag I tied a bow using some tan colored twine that I fed through the hole in the tag. I attached the tag to the top of my gift with a glue dot.

BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas Linky Party Kickoff

Today is the kickoff of our BYSH Cardmakers Spring into Christmas April 2026 Linky Party. My project for the kickoff features pattern papers from the Doodlebug Designs Oh What Fun 6" X 8" paper pad. I used foam tape to adhere the two pattern papers together. I used some Gina K. Designs Connect glue to adhere the focal image to the middle of the aeched opening. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Mini Strip Stamps - Holiday 2 and die cut with the Mini Strips Die. BYSH Cardmakers January Sketch #65 Challenge Project 2

I'm back today with my second project for this month's BYSH Cardmakers January Sketch Challenge. Here is a look at the sketch.

My project today features pattern paper from the 6" X 6" Poinsettia Garden paper pad from  Paper Rose. I used the sketch for the measurements for the pattern paper. I had my Cricut Maker 4 cut my pattern paper strips to ensure accuracy and a straight cut. I am a bit challenged in that area. 😊

My poinsettia is cut from white glitter cardstock using the two smallest dies from the Taylored Expressions Garden Variety Poinsettia dies. I used some amber colored rhinestones for my flower center.

My sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions Mini Strip Stamps - Holiday 2 red rubber stamp and die cut using the matching Mini Strips Cutting Die.

BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party Project 2

 

I'm back sharing my second card for the Falling for the Holidays Linky Party.

My card is a standard A2 card featuring products from our sponsors Gina K. Design and Kat Scrappiness, Taylored Expressions, Thermo-O-Web, and Pink and Main.

I used the Gina K. Designs Holiday Floral and embossed a cream panel cut to 4" X 5 1/4". Next, I stamped the tree from the Gina K. Designs and Simon Says Stamp Shimmering Christmas Stamptember Exclusive onto some Taylored Expressions Brussel Sprout cardstock with Versamark ink. I added some Ranger Gold embossing powder and melted it with my heat gun. I then die cut it out with the matching dies.

I took a piece of red tone on tone pattern paper from my stash and die cut it using the second biggest Stitched Rounded Rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness. I added some foam tape from Therm-o-Web to the back of the red pattern paper rectangle then added it to my embossed cream cardstock panel. I used liquid adhesive to add my gold embossed tree to the red pattern paper mat. I then used more liquid adhesive to attach my card front to my A2 white card base.

I used a foilables panel from the Christmas Sentiments pack. I foiled the sentiments with some gold foil and cut it out with a sentiment die from my stash. I attached the sentiment to my card with some thin foam tape. Finally, I added a few gold confetti pieces from Kat Scrappiness to the front of my card.

BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party

 

Today is the kickoff of the BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party. Here is the card I made for the kickoff.

My card is a standard A2 card. My card base is heavy duty white cardstock. My pattern paper is from an older 6" X 6" paper pad from our sponsor Pink and Main. I die cut the paper using a rectangle die from another sponsor Kat Scrappiness. I used glimmer plates and a die from Newtons Nook also a Linky Party sponsor and pastel foil from Spellbinders. I stamped my sentiment with black ink on white cardstock and cut it using my paper trimmer. My sentiment is from a Taylored Expressions sentiment stamp set. Taylored Expressions is also a Linky Party sponsor.

I popped my trees up with some foam tape and finished my card with some glass AB embellishments also from Kat Scrappiness.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #48 Challenge

 

There is a new sketch challenge over at BYSH Cardmakers. The Sketch #48 Challenge is active. Here is a look at the Sketch.

For my card I used some diagonal striped paper. My ornament was found in Cricut Design Space. I added some greenery to two of the top sides of the ornament. I turned the images to draw and attached them to the ornament. I also added a snowflake to the middle of the second section of the ornament, again I turned it to draw and attached it to the ornament. I used a silver marker to draw these images before cutting it out. I used some silver rub-on's  for the snowflake on the top layer and the two small dots on the lower layer. I added some small silver gemstones to the center of the snowflakes. I popped the ornament up when I added it to my card.

My sentiment is from a stamp set from Taylored Expressions. I heat embossed it with silver embossing powder and used the matching die to cut it out. I used some foam tape to pop the sentiment up when adhering it to my card. I added some silver sequins to finish my card.

BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party

 

I'm back with another card for the Christmas in July Linky Party. If you haven't joined the party, there is still time.

My card today is a standard A2 card. My card features the Gnome Alone Santa die set from Taylored Expressions. Pattern papers are from my stash. The striped paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4". I used a stitched Arch die to cut the green pattern paper. I white heat embossed my sentiments which are from the Sneak A Peek Sentiments stamps.

BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party Day 6

 I'm back today with my project for day six of the BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party. 

My card today uses a 3" X 4" Watercolor Panel from Taylored Expressions one of our awesome sponsors. I used some Zig True Brush Markers to color the berries and holly leaves. I used some gold metallic watercolor to point the ribbon and frame around the image as well as the smaller dots by the holly. I also used that gold paint to add some fun splatters to the panel.

My card base is a standard A2 card size made from heavyweight white cardstock. The pattern paper is from a Carta Bella paper pad that I cut down to 4" X 5 1/4". I adhered my pattern paper to my card base with some Bearly Arts glue, a new sponsor.  I popped my panel up with some foam tape and added it to the center of my card. A quick and easy card.

BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Day 4

 

Welcome to day four of the BYSH Cardmakers Falling for the Holidays Linky Party.

My project today features some products from one of our sponsors, Taylored Expressions. My card is a standard 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" A2 card base. My pattern papers are from Scrapbook.com's Christmas Watercolors 2 5" X 6" paper pad. My background pattern paper is cut to 4" X 5 1/4".

I stamped one of the reindeer from the Taylored Expressions Woodland Reindeer Silhouettes stamp set in Versamark ink on black cardstock and embossed it with some Wow Angel Wings glitter embossing powder. I used the coordinating die to cut the reindeer out. I used some Spellbinders Arch Dies to cut two arches from more of the pattern paper. I layered them together, attached my reindeer to the arch paper with my Bearly Arts Glue another of our wonderful sponsors. I then added more adhesive to attach my arches to the left side of my card.

Next I stamped my sentiment from the same stamp set on some white cardstock with VersaFine Nocturne ink. I used a circle die to cut my sentiment out. I adhered the sentiment to my card base with some thin foam squares. To finish the card I added some Honey Bee Stamps Moon Dust confetti mix. They are a holographic white even though they look blue in the photo.

This is my project using the sketch.

I used pattern paper from my stash for this card. I used some white glitter cardstock and some gold metallic cardstock for the small strips across the card and the poinsettias center dots. I die cut the poinsettia from some of the white glitter cardstock. 

I gold heat embossed my sentiment on my green cardstock mat. The sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions Modern Holiday Sentiments stamp set. I popped up my poinsettia with a small foam square above my sentiment.

BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party Day 4

 

Here is my Day 4 project for the BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party. My card today is a standard 4 1/4"  5 1/2" A2 card. Card base is heavyweight white cardstock. My pattern papers are from Echo Park. Images and greenery in the pocket are from Cricut Design Space and cut with my Cricut Maker 3. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder and is from the Modern Holiday Greeting stamp set from Taylored Expressions. Taylored Expressions is one of our many wonderful sponsors.

BYSH Cardmakers Christmas in July Linky Party Day 2

 

Welcome back for Day 2 of our Christmas in July Linky Party. Here is my project for today. I recently bought some new Christmas 6" X 6" paper. I fell in love with this pattern. It has greenery going across the top as well.

I knew it would be perfect for a mini slimline card. I created a card base from some heavyweight white cardstock. the card base measured 6 1/2" X 6" that I scored and folded to make a 3 1/4" X 6" card base. I cut a red cardstock mat to 3 1/8" X 5 7/8" then trimmed my pattern paper down to 3" X 5 3/4". I adhered everything together with liquid adhesive.

I used a Taylored Expressions Stamp, Woodland Reindeer Silhouettes, to stamp my flying reindeer with some Hero Arts Crimson Ink onto some white cardstock. I used the coordinating die to cut him out. I adhered him directly to my card with liquid adhesive.  Taylored Expressions is one of our wonderful Linky Party  sponsors. I hope you can check them out.

I stamped my sentiment directly onto my card front with the same crimson ink. The sentiment comes from the Modern Holiday Greetings stamp set from Taylored Expressions. I finished my card with some red confetti from my stash.
