Let's Craft and Create Challenge #177 EnTWINEd AG with the option Use Twine

It's that time! It's time for a new challenge over at Let's Craft and Create. Challenge #177 is Anything Goes with the option to use twine.

For my project using twine I immediately thought of using a tag for my card. I decided I wanted a fall/Thanksgiving themed card. Next I decided I wanted this leaf on the front of my card. I then picked out my pattern paper from the Echo Park Fall 6" X 6" paper pad.

I started with some heavyweight white cardstock cut, scored and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I cut my flowered pattern paper with a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die. It completely covers my card front.  I adhered it to my card front with some liquid adhesive. I then cut my Happy Fall pattern paper with a MFT Banner die. I used the largest die. For the whole in my banner tag I used the smallest circle die from the Hero Arts Infinity Circle Dies, it was the perfect size.

For my Stitched Maple leaf I cut that using an older Poppy Stamps die from my stash using some Tonic Studios Craft Perfect Autumn Maple Pearlescent Cardstock. It is a 6" X 6" paper pad and the paper is beautiful.

I adhered my leaf to my tag with some liquid adhesive. I thread some thin hemp twine through the hole in my tag. Using another piece of the twine I tied a bow and adhered it just below the hole in my tag with a mini glue dot. To finish my card I added some Shimmering Fallen Leaves Sequins Mix from Kat Scrappiness.

This was a fun and easy card to put together. I appreciate you stopping by. I hope you will head on over to Let's Craft and Create to check out the rest of the design teams projects and link up your own project. There is always a prize to be won.

Ho Ho Ho Garland

For my Cutters Creek Design Team Blog post, I have a garland or banner that I made to decorate my office at work. All of the colors and patterned paper were printing and cut on my Imagine using the Snow Angel Imagine Cartridge and the Mr Frosty Patterned Imagine Cartridge. The stocking is cut at 5" using the Simply Charmed Cartridge. This picture was taken with my cell phone at work hanging on my white board in my office.

Here is a close up of one of the stockings. I adhered all the layers with some Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. The letters were added with some ASI Kool Tac Clear Foam Pads. I cut the patches for the toe and heel of the stocking out of white card stock as well as the top cuff. I used my Xyron to add some adhesive to the top of each of these white pieces and then covered them with Ultra Fine White Flower Soft. Finally I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch a hole at the top of each stocking. I ran someDoodlebug Twine through the holes to hang my stockings. Below are close ups of the other stockings.
Thanks for visiting.
