Sunny Day Crafting Challenge - F is for Fence

It is time for a new weekly challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.  This weeks challenge is F for Fence. Here is what I came up with.

The image is from the Silhouette store.  I thought it looked so springy and I think we all could do with a touch of spring right about now.  I cut the image at 4" wide which made it about 2.6" tall.  I used my My Favorite Things Mod Stitched Rectangle die to cut the blue patterned paper.  I used my corner chomper to round to the two corners on my card so the card base had the same look as the patterned paper.  I adhered the fence image to my patterned paper using some Nuvo Adhesive liquid glue.  My sentiment is from an Altenew stamp set and was stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink.  To finish the card I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White for the flower center and the birds little eye.

Sunny Day Crafting Challenge #53 - Love

It is time for a new challenge over at Sunny Day Crafting.  The challenge this week is L for Love.  Here is what I made.

My card base is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" white card stock.  I added a blue and white polka dot mat cut at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8".  My image is from the Silhouette store and is cut at 3 3/4".  The image is adhered with foam tape to the front of the card.  To finish it off, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in white and translucent blue.

 Deanna here with a Spring inspirational post for the Dies R Us blog.  Here is what I have for you today.

I started with yellow card stock that I cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" landscape style card.  I added a black mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and then the patterned paper mat cut at 3 3/4" X 5".  I love the little clouds on the patterned paper and thought they went with the whimsy of the bird houses.  The birdhouses were cut from the Tutti Designs Birdhouse Garden die.

Be sure to use your Tutti Design adapter plate when cutting this die.  It makes it so much easier to get a clean cut and to remove the image from the die.

I adhered all the layers together and attached the die cut image to the front of my card using some liquid adhesive.  To finish the card I added some enamel dots from the Nuvo Crystal Gloss Drops in Dandelion Yellow on the front of the card to add some additional interest.
