The Creative Crafters Challenge #77 June 2024

 

It's time for a new challenge over at The Creative Crafters. I just received the Hula Hippos stamp and die set so of course had to stamp and color it up. The little hippos doing the hula in this stamp set can't help but put a smile on your face.

I used some orange pattern paper from Echo Park as it reminded me of a sunset. I used some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn to cut my water and sand with my Cricut Joy Xtra. 

Everything is adhered flat to my card except the pineapple drink which I popped up with a foam square.

My sentiment is from the same stamp set and I white heat embossed it.

The Creative Crafter Challenge #76

 

It's time for a new challenge over at The Creative Crafters. As always, the challenge is Anything Goes. This is my card for the challenge.

My card base is heavyweight white cardstock cut and folded to make an A2 card base. My pattern paper if from the Blooms 6" X 6" paper pad by Carta Bella. I cut the paper to 3 3/4" X 5". I matted it on blue cardstock cut to 4" X 5 1/4". My focal image is a cut apart from the paper pad. I matted it on some pink cardstock. I popped it up with some foam tape.

My sentiment is from Honeybee Stamps that I white heat embossed on more of the blue cardstock. I used the matching die to cut the sentiment then popped it up on my card. To finish my card, I added some light blue gemstones from Honeybee Stamps. I put 3 on opposite corners of my focal image and several around my sentiment.

The Creative Crafters Challenge #71 Anything Goes

 

It's time for a new challenge over at The Creative Crafters. Challenge #71 starts today. As usual the challenge is Anything Goes.

My card for this challenge is a standard A2 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card. I used pattern paper from the latest release for HoneyBee Stamps. 

For my mats for my image, I used an image in Cricut Design Space and my Cricut Maker 3 to cut those mats. I adhered them together with liquid adhesive then added foam tape behind it to attach it to my card front.

The ornament is also from Design Space. I cut it using multiple colors of cardstock. I used some metallic gold foil cardstock for the top layer of the ornament.

I heat embossed my sentiment on some red cardstock with gold embossing powder. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp and cut with the coordinating die. To finish my card, I added some tiny gold pearls to the center of the snowflakes on the ornament and scattered some bigger gold pearls to the upper left and lower right around the sentiment.

The Creative Crafters Challenge #69 Anything Goes

So excited to be joining the Design Team for The Creative Crafters Challenge blog. Today starts Challenge #69 as always it's Anything Goes. This is my project.

My card base is heavyweight white cardstock cut, scored and folded to make a standard A2 card base.

My pattern papers are from the Carta Bella Fall Fun 6" X 6" paper pad. My images on the circle are from the chipboard die cuts.

My sentiment is from a Lawn Fawn stamp and die set. I embossed the word Autumn on some of the deep red metallic cardstock with some Antique Gold embossing powder. I cut it out 3 more times and adhered them together with the embossed sentiment on top. This adds dimension without having to cut teeny tiny bits of foam tape.

I stamped Hello directly to the card using some brown ink just above my Autumn sentiment.
