BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #50 Challenge

 I know our BYSH Cardmakers linky party is still going on, but so is our Sketch#50 challenge that ends at the end of this month. Here is my inspiration project for the Sketch #50 challenge.

For my inspiration project, I rotated the card from portrait to landscape. My candy canes are cut from design space and Cricut Access.

For my card I changed the orientation from portrait to landscape. I believe my pattern paper is from a 6 X 6 a Recollection paper pad I bought 2 or 3 years ago.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #31 Challenge

 

A new month and a new challenge is starting over at the BYSH Cardmakers. I have an inspiration project for you using the ne challenge sketch #31. Here's a look at the sketch.

For my card I used pattern papers from a 6 X 6 Recollections paper pad I had in my stash. I cut my Christmas light with my Cricut Maker 3. My white layer is glitter cardstock. I cut the light from some Cricut foil kraft board for the red and the silver is some I had in my stash.

I followed the layout and measurements on the sketch. I cut my light at 2 1/2". I adhered my light to my card with liquid adhesive. I stamped my sentiment directly on my card.

Winter Wonderland

I found a new paper pack at Michael's today. It is by Recollections and is called Starry Night. It is gorgeous. Lots of foil on the paper. (I know, I need more paper because....?) Of courese I had to come home and make a card out of it!

My card base is blue card stock cut and folded to make a 4" X 9" card (called a tall card). I added a white mat cut at 3 3/4" X 8 3/4" and then my patterned paper cut at 3 1/2" X 8 1/2". I also added a strip of white paper that used an EK Success punch on with a snowflake border. I cut the white strip at 1 3/4" X 8 1/2". I then stamped my sentiment and adhered the layers together. I also just got the Teresa Collins December 25th cartridge and my cut is from that cartridge. I cut the snowflake at 3". I cut the base layer out of blue card stock and snowflake layer out of American Crafts White Glitter card stock. This card stock is beautiful and very thick. I did use a multi-cut of 4 to cut my snowflake out. I then took some clear rhinestones and colored 7 of them blue with a Copic marker and then added them to the snowflake and I also added some of the clear rhinestones to the flourishes as well.
