Makin' Waves

Today I have a fun summer card for you! The image is an SVG file that I cut with my Silhouette. I cut him about 5" wide. My card base is white card stock folded to make a 5" X 6" card base. I added a black mat cut at 4 3/4" X 5 3/4".  My patterned paper is from my stash. The blue is cut at 4 1/2" X 5 1/2". The reverse side of the blue wave paper is the brown patterned paper. I took a strip of the brown pattern paper and tore it and then cut it to 4 3/4". I then inked the paper with some Tea Dye Distress Ink. For his glass, I added a coat of Glossy Accents to it. I then added some Stampendous Mica Pearlized fragments so his drink had some ice cubes in it. I also sprinkled some Distress Glitter in Rock Candy on the wet Glossy Accents. Once it dried I added a second coat to add some additional dimension to the glass. To add the look of sea spray I added some of the Stampendous Frantage Embossing Powder in Shabby Blue. I stamped my sentiment in some Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish my card I added some rhinestones and a small shell from my stash. To attach my surfer penguin I used an Action Wobble so he could "surf".

Father's Day Card

Father's Day is fast approaching so today I have for you a fun Father's Day card.  I found these ties in the Silhouette store that had the alphabet cut into them.  You can make the same card with your Cricut using the Simply Charmed cartridge. This cartridge has a tie image that you can cut. Then use your favorite font cartridge to cut the letters. This font reminds me a bit of the font on Birthday Bash. Need a cartridge, just contact Kim and she can special order you one. My card base is Kraft card stock cut and scored to give me a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I added a white mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and the patterned paper mat cut at 3 3/4" X5". I inked the edges of the two mats and the ties with some Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink. I cut my ties twice, Once out of white card stock with the letter. Then I cut the patterned paper tie. Both of these were cut at 1.15" X 3". I adhered the tie layers together than added the knot. I used a black gel pen to add some stitching to my ties. I then adhered them to my card with some foam squares. To finish the card I added some copper colored mosaic squares to each corner of the card.

Party Animal

I have a fun birthday card for you today! The little owl is a print and cut image from the Silhouette store. (Yes, Kim can order you a Silhouette!). The card base is white card stock cut and scored to make a 5" X 7" card base. I added a purple mat cut at 4 3/4" X 6 3/4". The patterned paper is from  my stash and is cut at 4 1/2" X 6 1/2". After I print and cut the owl, I added a bunch of Stickles to his hat and stomach. Because, of course a party animal has to sparkle and shine!  I added my owl to the front of the card with some foam squares. Finally I stamped the sentiment some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Celebrate Spring

Spring has finally arrived and I decided to make a card to celebrate that fact. Here is what I have for you today.

My card base is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2". I added a black mat cut at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8". The pink patterned paper is cut at 4" X 5 1/4". I then cut another black mat at 3 1/2" X 4 3/4". The smaller patterned paper piece is cut at 3 1/4" X 4 1/2". Both patterned papers come from the Olive Collection which is a Anna Griffin 6" X 6" Paper Pad that I got through Cutters Creek. I after adhere the larger mats together and the smaller mats together, I adhered the first two mats to my card base using my ATG gun. I then used some foam squares to pop up the smaller mats. I pulled out an old Cricut cartridge and cut my poppy from the Storybook Cartridge. I added some pearls to the middle of the flower and adhered it to my card front also with some foam squares. My sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish the card I added 3 more pearls to the lower left hand corner and some white doodle dots to the flower that I added with my white gel pen.

GIrls Just Want to have Fun

We are well into the busy birthday months for me so today I have a birthday card for a co-worker. I started with a white card stock card base cut and scored to make a 5" x 6 1/2" card base. I added a light aqua mat cut at 4 7/8" X 6 3/8". I used a new Anna Griffin embossing folder called Eleanors Lace and embossed a piece of lavender card stock cut at 4 3/4" X 6 1/4" using my eBosser. Got to love my eBosser. I love not cranking and it just flows through smoothly. I then used a new die I also go as part of my package with the Anna Griffin embossing folders. It was cut out of a dark turquoise card stock from my stash. I adhered my mats together with some Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller Adhesive. Kim doesn't stock them in the store (hint, hint) but she can order them and the refills for you. Okay, so call me crazy, but I really wanted that die cut image popped up!  So Kool Tak 3D Clear Foam on a Roll to the rescue! I love this product and it is one of my favorite products I have bought from Cutters Creek!! The advantage to using the Kool Tak Clear Foam is that it is clear. I also love  the one on the roll so I can cut any size I need. It worked perfect to pop up my die cut. Finally, I cut a small square piece of what card stock and used a border punch on it. Then cut a lavender piece of card stock that embossed my sentiment with Wow! embossing powder. I used Port and Brandy from a limited edition set called Girls Nigh Out! Love this embossing powder. Want me to let you in on a little secret. I could not emboss with embossing powder if my life depended on it!! UNTIL I found the Wow! embossing powder.. So this too, is one of my favorite products I have ever purchased from Cutters Creek.  If you haven't tried you, you should order a few colors and give it a try. You won't regret it! Celebrate Spring

A friend of mine ordered several of the new Memory Box stencils by mistake thinking they were dies. When she got them she had no idea what to do with them. I told her how I would use one so she told me to take it home and make something with it and bring it to show her. So this is what I came up with.

The stencil set was called Garden Birch Trees. Cutters Creek can now order Memory Box items so ask if you would like to order this. I started with a white piece of card stock and used some Washi Tape to tape the stencil to my paper. I used my Foam blending tool and some Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Ink to create my sky. I then used Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn to create the grass on my card. When I removed the die I had these great white Birch Trees. The next step was to figure out what to add to the card. I used a stamp with a bird on a branch from Hero Arts and stamped it with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. I then used a small bird stamp and stamped it up into the trees using Broken China. Finally I add a small butterfly that I stamped in Mustard Seed Distress ink. I used my Lemon Spica pen to add some glitter to the butterfly. My sentiment was stamped with Broken China Distress Ink as well.

Lucky Leprechaun

When I came across this cute little Hippo juggling shamrocks I just new I had to use him for a project. This is a print and cut image that I found in the Silhouette store. I used him at his default size which was about 5". For my card I started with white card stock cut and scored to may a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" portrait style card. Next I cut a green mat at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8". The white mat is cut at 3 3/4" 5 1/4". I wanted the sides of the green mat to show a bit more to help frame my image. I ran the white mat through my eBosser and embossed it with an Anna Griffin Circle of Gold embossing folder.  When I did the embossing I left about a 1/2" at the bottom end out of the folder so it would give me a smooth place to stamp my sentiment. I just love the look of the embossing on the white card stock. The embossing folder is a special order fold and isn't stocked in the store. There are several Cuttlebug Embossing folders that are carried in the store. I used my ATG gun to adhere the mat layers together. I used some foam squares to add my hippo to the front of my card and some Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive to add the little shamrocks. Finally I stamped my sentiment with some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.

Aged to Perfection

With the coming of Spring (we all hope) comes for me a lot of birthdays. So, I decided I better get a jump start on some of the cards I am going to need. I recently heard of a sunburst or starburst card and of course I had to give it a try. I started with 4 different pieces of patterned paper cut 1 1/2" X 4". Take each strip and cut it diagonally corner to corner to form two triangles. Lay your triangles out point side down and decide on the pattern you want. Next, cut a piece of scrap card stock 2 3/4" X 5".  First thing to do is to find the center of the paper along the 5" side. I drew a line from top to bottom to mark my center. Next I covered the entire piece of card stock with some Glue n Seal. Starting from the center of your card stock you start applying your triangle pieces being sure to let the hang off of each end of the paper a bit and be sure you are covering the entire piece of card stock. You may have to adjust your placement to be sure the corners are covered. One done allow it to dry and the cut all the overhanging excess paper off. Next I adhered the entire panel to another piece of white card stock cut at 3 3/4" 5". And, Joy of Joy's I got to try out my new mini perfect layers when I cut my black mat. I used the 1/8" side and it was fast an easy to get a perfectly centered mat behind my image layer. I also added a 1/2" x 5" piece of black card stock to the front of my card. I then cut a butterfly out at 2 3/4" using my Cameo and some green and black card stock. Before adhering the layers together I decided I wanted to glitter my butterfly. I pressed the black layer of the butterfly into my Versamark embossing pad and sprinkled it with some Ranger Sticky Embossing powder. I think everyone should have some of this embossing powder it is awesome, because, when you heat it up it goes from the white powder to shiny and becomes sticky. I then sprinkled the layer with some of the Black Soot Distress Glitter and then briefly heated the whole thing again to make sure the glitter was permanently adhered. It was quick and easy with the Sticky Embossing powder and I don't have glitter falling off my project. If you would like some of the Sticky Embossing powder shoot Kim and email and she can special order for you. It is so worth it. The Distress Glitters are also a special order item and they are all gorgeous. Some of the prettiest glitter I've seen. Once I had the butterfly done, I adhere the two layers together with some Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. I adhered the butterfly to my card front with some of the Clear 3D foam pads.  I stamped my sentiment with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and added some bling to finish it off. Thanks for visiting. Forever and Always

I have one more Valentine's Day card for you today. My card base is white card stock cut and scored to make a 5" X 7" card base. I cut a red mat at 4 3/4" X 6 3/4" and the patterned paper mat at 4 1/2" X 6 1/2".  All the layers were adhered together using my ATG gun. My image was cut using my Cricut Expression and the Love Struck cartridge at 4". After adhering the two  layers together with some Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive I sprayed it with some Iridescent Glitter Dust.  I adhered it to my card front with some foam squares. My sentiment was stamped with Memento Love Letter ink (my new favorite red).  This can be ordered for you, just ask. Finally I added some red pearls to the sentiment mat. Thanks for stopping by.

Box Card

Today I have a unique card for you. I call it a Box Card. I first saw this card here. There is a link on the blog to a YouTube video tutorial. Isn't this just the cutest thing ever??? To make the card, I started with a piece of Kraft card stock cut to 8 1/4" X 9". On the 9" side score your card stock at 2 1/8", 4 1/4" 6 3/8" and 8 1/2". Then turn the card stock so are scoring on the 8 1/4" side and score your card stock at 2 3/4". With the 2 3/4" score line to your left you want to cut your card stock to 6". From the piece you just cut off, you want to cut a piece that is 3 1/8" wide, then cut that piece in half lengthwise. From there it gets a bit tricky. Still an easy card, but I would suggest you watch this tutorial video. This helps explain where to cut the card stock and how to assemble the box part of the card.

 Back panel (does not get folded) red base mat is  5 7/8" X 8" and the white mat is 5 3/4" X 1 7/8". I stamped the white mat with my sentiment using Love Letters Memento ink. The heart flowers were cut using my Silhouette. I used Glossy Accents on the two heart flowers and covered the smaller on in Picked Raspberry Distress Glitter and the larger on with Festive Berries Distress Glitter. The Distress Glitters are a special order item just ask. To cover the bottom panels cut your red mats at 2" X 3 1/8" and the patterned paper at 1 7/8" X 3". To cover the top panels cut your red mats at 2" X 2 5/8" and your patterned paper at 1 7/8" X 2 1/2".

Then decorate and embellish as you wish. I used some print and cut images cut with my Silhouette. I used the Spica Red Glitter pen to add some sparkle to my Bear Lady Bug's antenna's and to the word love on my word label. I used the Blossom Spica Pen to add sparkle to the words Never Ends. My lady bug bear is attached to the back panel with an Action Wobble. I used my Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and ATG gun to put the card together. Now that the gift giving is over it is time to thank all our loved ones for the generosity. Today I have a fun play on words Thank You card. I started with white card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I added a dark blue mat cut at 4 1/4" X 5 3/8" then my patterned paper mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4". All of my patterned paper is from an American Crafts 6" X 6" paper pad called Family Ties. Check with Kim, I am sure she can order it for you. I wanted to create a patchwork quilt background for my sewing machine. So, I cut a piece of golden paper at 3 1/2" X 4 3/4". I then cut each of my little squares at 1 1/16" X 1 1/2". I used a bit of Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive to adhere the squares to my gold mat and then ran a zig zag stitch around all the squares. I then adhered that to my card using some foam squares. I cut my sewing machine from the Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge at 3". After adhering the layers together, I added it to the front of the quilted mat again using foam squares. My sentiment is stamped with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

All Hearts Come Home for Christmas

I have one more Christmas card for you today. My card base is Kraft card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. My dark red mat is cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and the patterned paper is cut at 3 3/4" X 5". The red mat and the patterned paper is from My Minds Eye. The images on my card are from the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Framelits Stamps and Dies. The set I used is called Holiday Joy. I cut all the dies using my eBosser and the magnetic mat. I used markers to color my tree stamps so I could have green trees and brown trunks. The deer was stamped with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink, this is a great brown and a wonderful addition to your Distress Ink pads. For the snowflakes I stamped them with some Versamark and embossed them with some WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer Glitter embossing powder. I adhered the trees directly to my card stock using some Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. The snowflakes and the deer are adhered with some foam squares. My sentiment is stamped with Cottage Ivy Memento Ink. I hope you all will try these new Sizzix Framelits Stamps and Dies. They are so versatile. The die set I used for my card today could just as easily be made for a spring, summer or fall card simply by changing the papers. I think the images from this dies and stamp set would make a great masculine card for a birthday as well. Kim still has a few left in the store, so hop on over and check them out. Cutters Creek Design Team 12 Days of Christmas

Welcome to the Cutters Creek Design Team's Twelve Days of Christmas. We are so happy you are joining us. Today is day 9 of our event.

Today I have for you a 5" X 7" card.  My card base is white card stock. I cut a piece of dark blue card stock 4 1/2" X 6 1/2". I stamped my image with some Versamark ink and embossed it using Opaque White WOW! embossing powder. To give the allusion that it's snowing, I added some Shabby White Fran-Tage. Next I cut another piece of white card stock about 3". I used a Memory Box die called Country Landscape to cut the top of my card stock. (AND Yes, Kim can now order the Memory Box dies, just ask). Next I added some glitter to the "snow" so it would glisten and then added it to my blue card stock. Once I had all of that attached to my card base I cut a Snowflake Doily from the Cricut Paper Trimmings cartridge. This was cut at 1 1/2" out of blue card stock. I then cut a 1" circle out of white card stock and embossed my Happy Holidays sentiment using some Bodacious Blue WOW! glitter embossing powder. Thanks so much for visiting today. O' Christmas Tree Card

I hope everyone had a great weekend and their week is off to a good start. I am not sure about you but wow, I can't believe Thanksgiving is just a few short days away. That means that Christmas won't be far behind. I decided I better get started on some cards and quick. Here is what I have for you today.

My card base is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" white Bazzill card stock. My pattern paper is from the Echo Park Holly Jolly 6" X 6" paper pad. My red pattern mat is cut at 4" X 5 1/4". I cut a piece of green card stock 3" x 5 1/4" and used a border punch on each side. The music paper is the back side to the red paper and I cut it so it would fit on the green punched mat but it too is 5 1/4" tall. My tree, is from the new Sizzix Framelits Dies and Stamps Tim Holtz Christmas Tree set. I love the versatility of these sets. For this card I opted to not use the stamps but just the dies. But I just as easily could have stamped and cut, or just stamped.

I used three different shades of green card stock one for each layer with each layer getting a bit lighter. The star is cut from some gold paper and then sprayed with some Gold Glitter Dust. ( Be sure to stock up on the Glitter Dust spray, it is a holiday must have). To decorate my tree I added some random pearls using a variety of colors of Liquid Pearls.

I stamped my sentiment on some white card stock using some Memento ink. This color is called Love Letters and is a gorgeous red.

Rosette Thanksgiving Wreath

I wanted to make a Thanksgiving Wreath for my house but wanted something a little different.  So, I decided to make a Rosette Wreath!  I love how it turned out. For my wreath, I started with six sheets of 8 1/2" X 11" card stock. I chose to use two different colors for my rosette wreath. Using my Scoreboard I scored on the paper every 3/4" of an inch on the 11" inch side. Once I had all my paper scored, I folded it accordion style. To adhere my rosette together I used some 1/2" Kool-Tak. It is very similar to scor-tape. I then cut two 6" circles and hot glued them to the front and back of the rosette to hold it in place. My turkey is from the Silhouette Store and was cut using my Cameo and some brown card stock. I used the offset feature in the Design software to create a shadow for my turkey and cut that out of some light rusty orange paper. I sprayed the brown layer of my turkey with some Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist. My letters were cut from the A Child's Year Cricut Cartridge at 4". I cut these out of the same card stock as the turkey's shadow. I applied some Glossy Glue and Seal to each letter and sprinkled them with some of the Rusty Hinge Distress Glitter. The distress glitter is a special order item, so just ask if you want some. I finished the wreath with a bow at the bottom. I made a loop out of the ribbon and hot glued it to the top of the wreath so I could hang it. The wreath actually went together really quickly so this is something you could put together for just about any occasion. You could also use patterned paper for an entirely different look. I thought these colors just gave the appearance of the turkey's tail all fanned out. Let me know what you think, I would love it if you left me a comment.

Belated Birthday Card

I had to make a birthday card for a co-worker's birthday that we missed. I started with a wooden flower embellishment from Kaisercraft. I painted the flower using Sailboat Blue Paint Dabber. Once the flower was dry I embossed the flower with some Bodacious Blue WOW embossing glitter embossing powder. My card is a white card stock base cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card. I added a blue mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4". My patterned paper is from my stash. The floral paper was cut at 3 1/2" X 3 3/4". The striped piece was cut at 1 1/2" X 3 3/4". I took a strip of the blue paper and used a scallop punch to create a little border between the two different papers. I also added a strip of blue to the upper half of my card. I then attached my flower embellishment using a craft glue dot. I stamped my sentiment on a piece of white card stock using some Memento Danube Blue ink. I used the ink pad to ink around the edges of the white card stock. On the inside of the card, I added a strip of the floral paper and stamped the rest of my sentiment using the Danube Blue ink.

Fight Like a Girl!

I am sure you are aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Cutter's Creek Design Team is encouraging all women to get their annual mammogram!!! So I have a Breast Cancer Awareness card for you today!

My card is a center panel step card, and is cut with my Silhouette Cameo. I used a white card stock base and some pink Core' dinations card stock. I embossed the small side pieces with the Juliet Damask Anna Griffin Embossing border folders and the center decorative piece with the main embossing folder. Kim, can order this folder for you. I cut the ribbon symbol with my Silhouette and using some Glue and Seal added some Spun Sugar Distress glitter. (Yes, this is a special order item, but please just ask)! I attached this to the card with some foam squares. My sentiments were stamped from the Jillian Vance Design stamps with some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. I used two sentiments from the set. Happy Halloween

Today I have for you a Halloween card that I made using the new Tim Holtz Stamps and Framelit dies. For my card I started with a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" black card stock base. I used my Graphic 45 Steampunk Paper for my card as well. The rust color mat is cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and the black dotted paper is cut at 3 3/4" X 5". (the dotted paper is the reverse of the rust paper, got to love two sided paper)! Even though it is sold out in the store, just ask, and Kim can order you some and there are some other great pads, check out the 12 Days of Christmas paper pad. For my web, I embossed each layer with some WOW! embossing powder in  Black Glint embossing powder. The spider was embossed with the Black Ebony embossing powder. I stamped and cut the web out of white card stock. To age it just a bit I sprayed it with some Old Lace Glimmer Mist. I layered the cuts of the web with some foam dots between the layers. I then added a foam dot to the very center of my layered spider web and then adhered it to my card front with some Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. To finish the spider I added some purple stickles to his body. My sentiment is from the same stamp and die set. I stamped it with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used my eBosser and the Magnetic Shim to cut my die images out.  One of Kim's customers asked if we could do a video showing how to use this shim and the embossing mat. So while working on this project I shot a short video to show you how I use the shim. I hope it will help answer some of your questions.

Party Hardy

I have another masculine birthday card for you today. This card is for  my son who will turn 23 on Saturday.

I was actually working on a different project for today's post but when I received my new 6" X 6" paper pads from Cutters Creek from the paper club I am in, I had to use some. We received two new Bo Bunny paper pads, the one that these papers are from is Trail Mix and the other pad is called Key Lime. Don't these names just call out to you? They sure did to me. Interested? On to my card. I started with a piece of kraft card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I cut a brown mat at 4 1/8" X 5 3/8", I just wanted a little of the card base to show. I wanted the patterned papers to be the star. The green patterned paper was cut at 4" X 5 1/4". When I saw this herringbone wooden pattern, I thought it would be perfect to serve as an anchor for my mug, to act like a table top. That piece is cut at 2 1/2" X 4".

My mug is from the Silhouette store and was cut at the  default size. I adhered all the layers together using my Scotch Quick Dry adhesive. Before adding the foam to the top of the mug, I first added some white liquid applique and then lightly covered that with some clear glitter from my stash. I set it aside to dry. Once it was dry I used my heat tool to heat up the liquid applique which causes it to puff up. I thought it really brought the foam to life. I then added the foam to my mug using some clear foam tape. I then adhered my mug to my card from also using the clear foam tape. To finish my card I stamped my sentiment using some Memento Morocco ink. I received this particular color while in the Memento Ink Pad club through Cutters Creek.

I bought my son a couple of bottles of beer for his birthday along with a beer stein and then a gift certificate to a local restaurant so he and his girlfriend can go have dinner together. I am hoping to etch his name on the stein if I get a chance. I thought the card went along with the theme of his gifts.

Aged to Perfection

My stepdad is turning 83 this week so I thoughI should get a card made for him. This is what I came up with.

 My card base is Kraft card stock cut and scored to make  9" x 4" card base. I like using Kraft card stock as  base for my masculine cards. it seems to go well with the masculine colors I use for my cards. Now here is a tip for you. I really wanted to use patterned paper from my Swagger paper pad (Kim  an order this for you) but it was a 6" X 6" paper pad and my card base was bigger.  What I did was I took 2 pieces of the blue paper and cut them to 3 3/4" in width. I left one at 6" and cut the other one to 2 3/4" and adhered both pieces to my card base. Next I took two different patterned papers and cut them in varying heights but all at 3 1/2" wide. I then alertnated the papers leaving  small gap between them. No seam from the blue show through and I was able to use my smaller paper on a bigger card.

My bottle was cut at 7" from the County Fair Cricut cartridge. (Kim can order that for you too). I cut the base out of some yellow card stock, I inked the cork top with some Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs Distress Stain. The bottle was cut out of some dark  from the Tim Holtz Kraft core card stock. I covered the entire green bottle with some Glossy Accents and let it dry overnight. Once the bottle was dry I used my Glossy Accents to adhere all my layers together. I then wrote on the label Est. 1930 the year he was born.

 The last thing I did was cut a tag using Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More.I cut my tag out of Kraft card stock at 2". Once cut I spritzed it with water and wrinkled it up then smoothrd it back out and hit it with my heat tool to dry it. After it was dry I distressedthe edges lightly with a pair of scissors then inked it with some Tea Dye distress ink. I stamped my sentiment with some Vintage Photo distress ink I rubbed some kitchen twin withmy blending tool to give it an aged look then tied the sentiment tag do the bottle. I adhered the bottle to my cardbase with some foam tape and added a glue dot to the back of the tag so it would stay where I wanted it too.

 All of the adhesives I used in the making of my card I got while I was part of Kim's adhesive club. It was a great way to stay supplied with some great adhesives and maintain my budget.

 One final word on Glossy Accents,  my son was repairing the little wooden slides for a couple of dresser drawers. He wanted to use some wood glue to help hold the new slides in because the screws were short. He also wanted to add some adhesive to the cracked slides. However we couldn't find the wood glue. Glossy Accents to the rescue. The glossy accents and a couple of wood clamps and a half hour and presto, repair complete.
