World Card Making Day
Today, October 3rd is World Card Making Day. I made five cards today at a class on Flower Soft. We made 4 Christmas cards and one Thanksgiving card. The snowman was done with the Polar White Flower Soft and Fine Glitter. We put the Flower Soft on first and the sprinkled with the glitter. I love how it turned out. The other Christmas Cards were made using Card Toppers by Flower Soft. The card toppers have an image printed on them. The gold edge trim around each of the topper cards is also by Flower Soft. We used the Christmas Vintage color blend for the Lamp Post as well as gold Smooch on a sponge to give the light on the lamp post card a glow.We embossed the sentiment on the Seasons Greeting card with gold embossing powder and used the Russet Red Flower Soft to highlight the the red berries and flowers on the card topper. We used the Christmas Green on the Merry Christmas card. For the Thanksgiving card, we started with a stamped image that we colored in with chalk and then added Orange Flower soft to the edges of some of the bigger pumpkins. I had a great time at the class and learned a lot about using Flower Soft. If you are looking for Flower Soft products and can't find them at your local stores, Kim at Cutters Creek sells it.
