Wish Card with the eBosser

Here is my first card made with the help of my new eBosser that came to live with me on Wednesday. Oh my I love that little machine. No cranking! It's electric. Does up to 8 1/2" X 11" and it is awesome. I finally had some time to play with it today and this was one of the things I cut. I used the Poinsettia Die from Spellbinders that I got last winter and cut and embossed it with the eBosser. Before removing the flower layers from the die I inked them in the center with some Spun Sugar distress ink. I also inked the edges with the Spun Sugar ink after removing them from the die. I cut the leaf and inked it with some Forest Moss Distress Ink.

I also sprayed my flower layers with some of the Pink Glitter Dust spray. I did to coats of that and then did one light coat of the Gold Glitter Dust. My these flowers sure sparkle.

For my card I started with a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base from Kraft card stock. I added a black mat cut at 5 3/8" X 4 1/8". My patterned paper is from Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium that I had left from last year. I cut the music sheet paper at 4" X 5 1/4". I then used the back side of the music paper and cut a strip 1 3/4" by 5 1/4". I punched the edge of this strip with a Martha Stewart doily lace punch and backed it with a piece of cream colored cardstock that I inked with some Vintage Photo distress ink. I also inked all my patterned paper with the Vintage Photo distress ink.

To assemble my flower I placed all the layers together and used my paper piercer to poke a hole in the center and added a yellow brad. I then used some flower soft glue on the brad and added some citrus crush ultra fine flower soft to cover the brad for the flower center. I added my leaf to my card and attached the flower with some foam tape. I then added a Tim Holtz word stick that says wish. I inked this with some caramel alcohol ink before added it to my card. To finish my card I added some pearls with cream colored liquid pearls along the other edges.

I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for visiting.
