Let's Hear it for the Girls!

The new Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a project in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is what I came up with.

I started with a white card stock base cut and scored to 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" then added a light green mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and then the patterned paper mat cut at 3 3/4" X 5". I inked the edges of my pink paper with some Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick distress ink.  My rose is from the Indie Art Cricut Cartridge. I cut the layers at 3 3/4". I cut the rose flower layer twice out of pink and sprayed it with some Pink Glitter Dust. I adhere the base flower directly to the green layer and the used some clear gel foam tape to layer the second flower on top of the first flower for added dimension. I added a pale pink ribbon that I tied in bow. For my sentiment I used a Tim Holtz Ticket that I inked with some Worn Lipstick distress ink and sprayed with Pink Glitter dust. I adhered it to my card and added a small Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon cut at 1/2" from the Stand and Salute cartridge. To finish I added a few pearls.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you will play along with us at Cardz TV for this Challenge.
