Wow December is just marching along isn't it? Christmas will be here in just a couple of weeks, that is hard to imagine. I think I am about done shopping except for a few stocking stuffers. So, we have a fun and very useful challenge for you today! it is to make a Gift Bag. Either you can make the entire bag or decorate and fancy up a store bought version. I chose to make my bag.
My file is from SVGCUTS.com. I cut this out on my Cricut Explore and cut the bag the size described in the menu file. Adhered the sides together and added some ribbon for my handles. The paper I used is Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas. I found this print and cut tag in the Silhouette store and print and cut it out as it was perfect for the paper. I stamped Christmas Wishes from the Very Merry stamp set, on the front of the tag using some Walnut Stain distress ink. I also inked the edges of the tag with some Tea Dye distress ink. The back was really quick and easy to put together and I am going to use it to wrap one of my DIL gifts in. It is just the perfect size.
Now it is your turn. Hope on over to CardzTV and link up a new bag project. Mary will be giving away a set of CardzTV stamp set. I am anxious to see what you make.
Deanna, your bag turned out so pretty. I love that paper and the detailed cut around the edge. Beautiful.
