Rockin' Robin!

It turned out to be a nice sunny day today after two days of wind and rain.  So I was inspired to make a fun and bright card.

I found my image of this bird on the Home Decor cartridge.  I opened it with Cricut Design Space and resized my bird to 4".  There were two layers turned off when I first put the image on my mat. So I turned those an.  So instead of just the yellow layer, I was able to cut a shadow layer out of  black and and colored layer out of the blue.. I cut the image on my Cricut Explore.

My card base is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" yellow card stock.  I added a blue mat cut at 4" X 5 1/4" and the patterned paper mat cut at 3  3/4" X  5".

I adhered my bird to my card front with some foam tape.  I used a Poppystamps Die called Classic Ribbon die to cut my ribbon that I stamped my sentiment.  Finally I added some rhinestones to the bird's tail and the eye..

I am entering this into the Fantabulous Cricuct Challenge..

Thanks for stopping by.
