One final Easter card for you. I made this one for my youngest granddaughter.
For this card once again I started with some heavy weight card stock that I cut, scored and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base. I cut some blue card stock down to 4 1/8" X 5 3/8". My patterned paper is from the Echo Park Welcome Easter Collection 6" X 6" paper pad and was cut down to 4" X 5 1/4". I adhered the patterned paper to the blue mat and attached it to my card base.
The chick is made using a die that was included in the Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Easter kit. I think he is so cute! I cut him using some of the yellow card stock that was included in the kit. They eyes, cheeks, and beak were cut from some scrap card stock from my stash.
I assembled my chick's face using some liquid glue. The chick cuts in two separate pieces. I popped up the top half of my chick using some foam tape and then adhered his tummy to the card flat using more liquid adhesive. I love the effect that gave to him.
My sentiments are from the Hippity Hoppy stamp set that were included in the kit. I stamped them using some of the Simon Says Stamp Hybrid Melon ink cube also included in the kit. I used my Mini Misty to stamp them on a scrap of heavy weight white card stock. I then stamped them again using Versamark ink and hit embossed them with clear embossing powder. I popped up the sentiments using some foam tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
