Birthday Bouquet

My Mom's birthday is in April and while she doesn't like us buying her gifts I wanted to do something for her. I decided to make her a little easy care birthday bouquet. I used the Forever Young Cricut cartridge to cut the both layers for the flowers. I used a bright pink card stock for the back layer and a yellow and pink stripped paper from the DCWV Flower Stack for the top layer. I cut the flowers at 2 1/2" and clued the two layers together using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. I then used buttons for the flower centers and used the quick dry adhesive to adhere those as well. The stems are some plastic stripped straws that I picked up at the dollar store. The container is one that I got on clearance at Michaels after Valentines Day for .59 cents. The ribbon is some I had on hand. I used some glass pebbles inside the container so the flowers would stand up. It went together really quick and I think she will like it.

I apologize that it isn't a better picture. I am hoping that by next weekend I am past this cold bug I have had for the last week. It has really wore me out and left me feeling less then creative but I hated to let a whole weekend go by without doing something. Thanks for looking.
